Delta Force release date speculation

Given this is the first time we’re seeing anything related to the upcoming Delta Force game and the trailer labels all content as ‘Pre-alpha Footage, ‘ it’s doubtful Delta Force is set to release this year. Delta Force may be set to release in 2024 or 2025, but we’ll likely find out more at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 22, 2023.

What is Delta Force about?

Delta Force is a long-standing series, and in an interview with IGN, Delta Force producer Shadow Guo said, “Our objective is to uphold the authentic essence of the original Delta Force game while infusing a near-future flavor from both artistic and narrative perspectives”.

Guo notes that for Delta Force’s campaign TiMi Studio Group “developed the overarching storyline with realistic themes, employed real-life actors for character building, utilized photogrammetry for 3D world creation, captured tactical movements from military professionals, and sought guidance from former Special Forces personnel to ensure an authentic tone of resolute realism and professionalism within the military theme”.

Delta Force platforms

According to the game’s teaser trailer, Delta Force will release on PlayStation, Xbox, PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), iOS, and Android devices. Judging by the level of graphical quality shown in the teaser trailer, we’re still unsure if there will be any differences between the PC and console versions and the mobile versions.

Given the wide range of graphical power along all these platforms, it’s safe to say that if the mobile phone version of the game is running natively, it won’t look as good as the console or PC version. However, it could be possible that the iOS and Android advertisements mean a streamed version of the game. This has not been confirmed, though. is reader-supported.
