Starfield players are already losing entire nights to the game

In what promises to be Xbox’s most anticipated console exclusive since Halo Infinite, the launch of Starfield is just a couple of weeks away.

Bethesda says that Starfield has been twenty years in the making, and it promises to be the biggest game that the studio has ever created, quite literally. For example, not only does it feature over 1000 planets and 100 star systems, but it is also apparently a thousand times bigger than The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Yikes!

What’s more, an image was shared on Reddit of Twitter user MrMattyPlays, who is one of the lucky reviewers that has their hands on an early copy. The image featured Patrick from SpongeBob SquarePants with bloodshot eyes, implying a lack of sleep.

“This is the only legit reaction I’m seeing from early access people, that they are losing track of time and just getting lost in the game,” replied Reddit user stoiccentrist. “I can’t think of a better selling point.” TryhardBernard added “Yeah this is like the fifth “I can’t stop playing to sleep” post/hint we’ve seen from reviewers. Very good sign.”

Starfield has a release date of 6 September 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X|S. Unless you’ve pre-ordered the Premium or Constellation Edition. If so, then your release date is 1 September. Starfield will also launch on Xbox Game Pass.
