Belfast’s SciLeads announces plans to create 60 new remote jobs
SciLeads Eyes Major Expansion with 60 Remote Jobs as It Gears Up for 10-Year Milestone
Belfast-based market intelligence powerhouse SciLeads is charting an ambitious course for growth, announcing plans to create 60 fully remote roles across multiple departments over the next three years. The move comes on the heels of a stellar 2025, which the company describes as a “transformational year” setting the stage for its 10-year anniversary in 2026.
Founded in 2016 by friends Daniel McRitchie, Laura Haldane, and James Campbell, SciLeads has carved out a niche as a leading provider of market intelligence solutions tailored for the global life sciences sector. The company’s platform is designed to simplify and streamline lead generation and market research, empowering organizations to make data-driven decisions with precision.
According to McRitchie, SciLeads’ CEO, the company is doubling down on its commitment to innovation and customer value. “2025 was a transformational year for SciLeads,” he said. “We’re continuing to invest in our platform and data so we can deliver even greater value to our customers, and we’re looking forward to welcoming new talent, both here in the UK and across the Atlantic, as we scale globally in 2026.”
The new roles span a wide range of disciplines, including software engineering, product development, sales, customer success, and marketing. This strategic expansion reflects SciLeads’ focus on enhancing its technological capabilities, deepening customer relationships, and broadening its market reach. As a fully remote organization, SciLeads has the unique advantage of tapping into a global talent pool, enabling it to recruit top-tier professionals regardless of geographic location.
Haldane, a co-founder, emphasized the flexibility and inclusivity that comes with SciLeads’ remote-first approach. “As a remote company, we’ve an excellent advantage in that we can recruit top talent from anywhere, so it means we not only have the best team but also the flexibility of working on our own terms,” she noted.
The announcement is part of a broader wave of growth and investment sweeping through Northern Ireland’s tech ecosystem. In late January, Belfast-based health-tech startup Eolas Medical secured $12 million in Series A funding to scale its AI-driven solutions within the UK’s National Health Service and pursue international expansion. Around the same time, sports technology startup TeamFeePay closed a £9 million equity funding round, led by YFM Equity Partners and the Investment Fund for Northern Ireland, to fuel its market expansion and recruitment efforts.
These developments underscore Northern Ireland’s emergence as a vibrant hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, with SciLeads at the forefront of this dynamic landscape. As the company prepares to celebrate a decade of success, its commitment to growth, innovation, and talent acquisition positions it as a key player in the global life sciences market.
For professionals seeking opportunities in a fast-growing, forward-thinking company, SciLeads’ expansion represents a chance to be part of a transformative journey. With its remote-first model, the company is not just building a team—it’s building a global community of innovators dedicated to shaping the future of market intelligence.
