The Danville Office of Social Services would like to notify the public they will remain closed due to an ongoing internet outage.

DANVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — The Danville Office of Social Services would like to notify the public they will remain closed due to an ongoing internet outage.

A representative from the office told WFXR News their outage is not related to the global Microsoft IT issue being experienced by other service providers throughout the area.

Instead, a router issue has led to an ongoing internet outage, resulting in their office at 510 Patton Street, being closed for the remainder of the day.
