Razer Launches 16-Inch Laptop Sleeve with Built-In MagSafe Wireless Charging

Razer has unveiled a new 16-inch laptop sleeve that combines protection with convenience by integrating MagSafe-compatible wireless charging for smartphones and earbuds. The Razer Laptop Sleeve 16 With Wireless Charging for Devices is priced at $130 and features two dedicated charging zones that can power an iPhone and AirPods simultaneously.

The sleeve’s wireless charging functionality is built directly into the top panel, where strategically placed magnets serve a dual purpose: securely holding devices in optimal charging positions while also functioning as a magnetic clasp when the sleeve is closed for transport. Power is delivered through a USB-C connection that can be plugged into a 30W+ power adapter or directly into a MacBook’s USB-C port.

Charging speeds are capped at 15W for the primary iPhone charging area, with a secondary 5W spot reserved for AirPods or similar accessories. This configuration means users won’t achieve the maximum wireless charging speeds available on newer iPhones that support up to 25W, but it provides reliable power delivery for on-the-go charging. The design specifically accommodates one iPhone at a time due to both the single 15W charging coil and spatial limitations within the sleeve.

The sleeve incorporates substantial padding throughout to protect laptops from drops and impacts, while a plush interior lining prevents scratches on the device’s surface.
