‘Invincible’ Is Back in Fighting Form—Its Animation, Not So Much

seasons. It’s not that the animation is bad, but it’s noticeably worse, which is disappointing given how much of a talking point the show’s animation has been in the past.

Still, it’s hard not to be impressed by how far Invincible has come from its humble beginnings as a mid-2000s comic. The show’s been a long time coming, and the sheer fact that it’s managed to hold on to its voice, its characters, and its momentum is impressive. It’s just a shame that, as the show’s story finally hits its stride, its animation is starting to drag it down.
