Nothing Phone (4a) and (4a) Pro storage and color options leaked
Nothing’s Next Move: Phone (4a) Series Storage, Colors, and Specs Leak
Nothing is dialing up the hype machine once again as whispers about its upcoming Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro begin to crystallize into real details. After weeks of cryptic teasers and CEO Carl Pei’s promise that this year’s mid-range duo will deliver a “flagship experience,” fresh leaks now reveal what buyers might actually get under the hood—and in their hands.
According to a tip from trusted leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Nothing Phone (4a) will land in two configurations: an 8GB RAM/128GB storage base model and a 12GB RAM/256GB variant for those who want more breathing room. The Phone (4a) Pro, meanwhile, is rumored to mirror the 12GB/256GB setup—at least for now—though Nothing has confirmed that both devices will feature UFS 3.1 storage, promising snappier app launches and faster file transfers compared to the UFS 2.2 used in last year’s Phone (3a) series.
Color-wise, Nothing appears to be toning down the palette from the kaleidoscopic teasers it’s been dropping. Instead of a rainbow of hues, the standard Phone (4a) is said to arrive in classic Black and White finishes, while the Pro variant may offer a sleek Black and Silver duo. It’s a more restrained approach, but one that still fits Nothing’s signature minimal-yet-playful design language.
Powering these devices will likely be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7-series chipsets—a sweet spot for mid-range performance—though exact model numbers remain unconfirmed. The Phone (4a) Pro is also tipped to pack a 5,080mAh battery, a notable jump from its predecessor, and should support the brand’s characteristic glyph interface lighting for notifications and charging cues.
Nothing’s (4a) series is expected to debut as early as next month, and with each leak, the pressure builds for the company to deliver on its promise of flagship-level polish at a more accessible price. If the hardware checks out—and Nothing’s software continues to refine Android’s quirks—this could be the phone that finally pushes the upstart brand into the mainstream.
