Stockholm’s Endform secures €1.5M
Stockholm’s Endform Shatters CI Pipeline Bottlenecks with €1.5M Seed Round
In a world where AI-powered code generation is accelerating software development at breakneck speed, a new Swedish startup is tackling one of the most frustrating bottlenecks in modern engineering: the agonizing wait for continuous integration (CI) pipelines to complete.
Endform, a Stockholm-based testing platform, has just secured €1.5 million in seed funding to revolutionize how engineering teams handle browser-based end-to-end testing. The funding round was co-led by Alliance VC, Antler, First Fellow Partners, and Greens Ventures, with participation from strategic angel investors who recognize the critical pain point Endform addresses.
The problem Endform solves is deceptively simple yet devastatingly impactful. As development teams ship code faster than ever—particularly with AI-assisted coding tools flooding repositories with new features—test suites have ballooned to the point where CI pipelines can take 20 minutes or more to complete. This creates a cascading delay where developers spend more time waiting for tests to finish than actually writing code.
Endform’s solution is elegantly straightforward: instead of running tests sequentially, the platform distributes each test to its own cloud machine, enabling entire test suites to execute simultaneously. The result? Total testing time collapses to roughly the duration of the single slowest test, fundamentally reimagining parallel execution in CI environments.
Jakob Norlin, Endform’s co-founder, frames the commercial imperative clearly: as test suites grow, they become bottlenecks that throttle engineering velocity. Endform decouples test volume from execution time, allowing developers to focus on shipping rather than staring at loading bars.
The platform’s traction speaks volumes. Since launching publicly in March 2025, Endform has attracted customers across Sweden and the United States. Among its most prominent early adopters is Lovable, the AI-assisted coding platform that has emerged as one of Europe’s fastest-growing software companies. According to Endform’s case study, Lovable cut its Playwright suite runtime in half after adopting the platform, then tripled test coverage while maintaining flat execution time, and now runs over 80,000 tests per week.
The timing couldn’t be more strategic. As AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Lovable themselves accelerate code production, QA infrastructure faces unprecedented pressure. The math is brutal: more code means more tests, more tests mean longer pipelines, unless infrastructure scales accordingly. Endform positions itself at this exact inflection point.
Oliver Stenbom, Endform’s co-founder, brings firsthand experience from his infrastructure engineering role at Mentimeter, where the Swedish SaaS company was shipping code up to eighty times daily at peak. This high-velocity environment informed Endform’s architecture—the platform is designed to absorb scale without requiring teams to build custom parallelization solutions.
The investor lineup reflects Endform’s Nordic roots and strategic positioning. Alliance VC, a Nordic-focused firm with offices across Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki, and Copenhagen, brings deep regional expertise. Greens Ventures, backed by over fifty Spotify alumni, focuses on Nordic pre-seed startups founded by operators from unicorn-stage companies, providing both capital and operational mentorship.
Endform’s pricing model aligns perfectly with modern engineering economics: pay-per-use billing based on actual test infrastructure minutes rather than flat subscription fees. This creates direct alignment between platform cost and team efficiency—teams only pay for what they use, and faster testing means lower costs.
The broader context is compelling. As software development enters an era where AI can generate entire applications in minutes, the friction points shift from coding to testing and deployment. Endform isn’t just solving a technical problem; it’s enabling a new paradigm where testing becomes an accelerator rather than a brake on innovation.
With this fresh capital, Endform plans to expand its team and broaden platform adoption, positioning itself to capture the growing market of teams racing to keep pace with AI-driven development. In a landscape where speed is everything, Endform is betting that the future belongs to teams who can test as fast as they can think.
