Widespread Spectrum internet outage reported as crews replace utility pole in Blountville
BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. (WCYB) —
A widespread Spectrum internet outage is affecting many customers in the Tri-Cities region on Tuesday.
According to a company statement, crews are to replacing a damaged fiber on a utility pole in Blountville. The company hopes to have service restored by the late afternoon.
The utility company has not said how many customers are impacted, but News 5’s Caleb Perhne has talked with several business owners across Elizabethton, who say the outage is limiting their ability to stay open.
