Samsung will indeed augment its premium Galaxy Watch series with its first-ever Ultra variant in 2024, according to a new leak. It will almost certainly debut alongside alternatives of a more traditional naming scheme. All of the new wearables confirmed to launch thus far have LTE, although they are also thought to have differences in terms of size and specs.

Samsung is projected to produce a very direct and overt competitor to the Apple Watch Ultra line in 2024 with a new kind of Galaxy Watch. Now, the new top-end variant has been outed by name in a new NBTC filing.

The Thai regulator has reportedly confirmed outright that the SM-L705F, or Galaxy Watch Ultra, is one of Samsung’s latest smartwatches, as indeed are the SM-L315F and SM-L305F, which are to debut as 2 versions of the same Galaxy Watch7.

Neither Watch6-series successor is likely to come cheap, as all of them are now cleared to use 4G/LTE in Thailand. Then again, the Watch Ultra is projected to be the most expensive with what might be its generation’s only 47 millimeter (mm) case.

Meanwhile, the SM-L315F and -L305F are thought to make do with 44mm and 40mm form-factors, without alternatives such as the 43mm Watch6 Bespoke Edition like this one on Amazon in sight thus far.
