Like call her son Vince in an emergency. Doris worries about falling.
“If I’m on the floor and I don’t have my phone with me then I’d be lying there and nobody would help me,” Doris said. “So if I tell google to call Riha or call Vince, she calls that number. They have that number in there.”
Doris says her CenturyLink internet has been out since May 19. For a month, she says the three Google Assistants strategically placed around her house have displayed the same alert regarding a network problem.
The 93-year-old says her internet connection is so important, not just as a lifeline, but a lifestyle. Google can find her online games.
“I don’t go anywehre,” Doris said. “I don’t drive. I’m 93, so it’s things I do to pass time.”
And she says its past time to restore her internet.
Though vince got a message from CenturyLink that it should be back on by Wednesday night.
‘Tomorrow, tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes,” Doris said. “Isn’t that just like a song or a story or a movie or something?”
