Amazfit rolls out more than a dozen features and improvements in new smartwatch update

Amazfit has released a new firmware update for the Balance smartwatch. The watch has recently been getting updates at least once a month, first receiving Zepp OS 3.5 in February. This latest release is 12.60MB in size, bringing various new features and optimizations to the wearable.

Version 3.20.6.1 adds two new activities to the Balance smartwatch, Padel and Pickleball, found under Ball Workouts. The fishing mode has been upgraded, with a new data page showing your number of casts, fish caught, time spent on the current cast, and sunrise and sunset times. Other related tools include a real-time air pressure chart and a loop timer. Zepp Coach has improved with a new function to switch your training guidance mode to time-, heart-rate- or distance and pace-based.

Plus, VO2 Max data can be collected when trail running, and running power meters are now supported. There is a new night display mode with your choice of red, orange or green color filters. On top of that, Zepp Flow will be available in more languages – Portuguese, Japanese, and Korean – starting July 1st. You can find the full release notes in the screenshot below. It appears that firmware version 3.20.6.1 is rolling out to the Amazfit Balance smartwatch in phases. Users in the US have reported the update; it is unclear when it will be available for all customers.
