OnePlus Ace 3 Pro Has A 85 Percent Higher Heat Dissipation Capability Than iPhone 15 Pro Max, According To New Test; Vapor Chamber Likely Helped In These Results

The iPhone 15 Pro Max lacks any form of elaborate cooling, which is no surprise given that its 3nm A17 Pro quickly reaches its thermal limitation when running intensive applications such as games. In short, it was a missed opportunity for Apple, one that was capitalized by the newly announced OnePlus Ace 3 Pro because the latest test results show that its heat dissipation capability is 85 percent higher than Apple’s top-end model. Additionally, the latest premium Android smartphone makes short work of its other competitors, as you will soon find out.

Top-tier vapor chamber allows the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro to achieve a high heat dissipation value; will likely keep the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 thermals tamed

Soon after the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro launched, reviewer Geekerwan got his hands on a unit and ran the flagship through its paces. Thanks to the advanced vapor chamber, the video posted on bilibili reveals that the device has a heat dissipation capacity of 7.8W, making it significantly higher than the competition, particularly the iPhone 15 Pro Max. In fact, Apple’s current-generation flagship has the lowest heat dissipation capability tested in all five flagships, obtaining a value of just 4.2W.

Coming in second place is the OnePlus Ace 3V, which has a cooling capacity of 7.6W, not that it needed to because it is kitted out with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 instead of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. In third place, we have Huawei’s Pura 70 Ultra with a heat dissipation rating of 7.2W, and considering the inefficiency of the Kirin 9010, such a cooling solution was mandatory. Looking at these results, we can conclude that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 would run cool inside the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, meaning that the flagship can likely maintain its performance for prolonged sessions.

These figures also reveal how different the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s results would have been if Apple had not skimped out on a vapor chamber cooler. Thankfully, the technology giant is rumored to adopt a ‘Graphene Thermal System’ for the iPhone 16 to improve temperatures while switching to a metal cover for the battery for improved heat transfer. Now, let us wait and see if Apple can deliver the same impressive results as the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro when it launches its new lineup later this year.
