Amazfit is rolling out an update for the GTS 4 Mini smartwatch, focusing on one particular health-tracking feature. Version 4.3.32.3 is a relatively minor update, with a file size of 3.31MB, flagged by Reddit user u/govinicius.
The new software for the GTS 4 Mini brings improvements to the calorie tracking feature. The change log for the update states that the algorithm now considers other data for metrics such as heart rate, resting heart rate, step count and activity level. On top of this, the company has seemingly enhanced the algorithm for users with workouts switched off. Both optimizations are said to improve the accuracy of the calorie data.
It appears that the version 4.3.32.3 firmware update has been rolling out to various GTS 4 Mini smartwatch users for several weeks. It is unclear what stage of the phased rollout we are at and, therefore, how many customers can install the software. To check for the update, go to the Zepp app, then click on Profile > Amazfit GTS 4 Mini > System Update. In other news, Amazfit has recently updated the iOS version of the Zepp app, unlocking the emotion monitoring tool for the new Helio Ring.
