Originally from North Macedonia, Elizabeta’s journey into technology began in programming and tech education, where she quickly developed both technical acumen and leadership instincts. Those early years weren’t just about coding—they were about building relationships, expanding capabilities, and understanding how technology could be operationalized in real-world environments. This foundation would later connect her to global tech ecosystems and shape her approach to AI transformation.

Her career took a pivotal turn when she joined Cisco, launching a 19-year global tenure that would take her from the Balkans to Vienna and eventually to Dubai, where she led multicultural EMEA teams. Elizabeta emphasizes that her progression wasn’t the result of a linear path but rather a series of exposures to different markets, cultures, and business challenges. Each region brought new complexities—aligning customer needs with evolving technology strategies, managing diverse teams, and navigating the nuances of digital transformation across industries.

In Vienna, she led telecom operations across Eastern Europe, blending sales leadership with technical execution. She credits Servant Leadership principles as a guiding philosophy during this phase—focusing on empowering teams to connect effectively with C-suite executives and deliver exceptional results. This approach, she says, was instrumental in scaling operations and driving growth.

Her move to Dubai was deliberate. Elizabeta saw the city as a nexus of opportunity and capability, a place where innovation thrives and ambition meets execution. The region’s rapid development and openness to emerging technologies influenced how she approached large-scale initiatives and organizational transformation.

As her roles expanded to include enterprise-level operations across EMEA, Elizabeta was responsible for managing complex business portfolios, coordinating global teams, and aligning product and strategy functions. She describes this phase as one that required both operational discipline and strategic clarity—skills that would later prove invaluable in her AI-focused venture.

A turning point came during a Harvard leadership program between 2013 and 2014. Elizabeta calls it a moment of reflection—a time to evaluate her career and personal journey. It was here that the seed for her next chapter was planted. “I knew my next challenge would be to take all of my experience and the immense knowledge I gained from my time at Harvard to build my own company,” she recalls.

That idea simmered in the background until artificial intelligence exploded into the mainstream. As AI became the centerpiece of every tech conversation, Elizabeta saw both an opportunity and a gap. While AI tools were advancing rapidly, many organizations lacked the readiness and strategy to implement them effectively. She stepped away from the corporate world to immerse herself in the field—completing a program at MIT in 2024 and studying how organizations could integrate AI into their digital transformation journeys.

“The starting point should always be the business outcome,” Elizabeta asserts. “To understand the client and how their AI ambition can convert into operational reality and growth.”

This philosophy is the cornerstone of EverCognitive, the AI transformation firm she founded. The company works with organizations to assess their organizational health, perform AI readiness audits, and design and select AI solutions that map directly to business outcomes. Services include executive advisory, organizational assessments, and implementation frameworks that operators can execute with confidence.

Elizabeta’s approach is deeply informed by her experience in large organizations. She understands that technology decisions are rarely made in a vacuum—they’re shaped by leadership alignment, organizational structure, and operational priorities. “I have spent years working with the companies that are now trying to leverage AI,” she explains. “My deep understanding of the digital transformation journeys different vertical markets went through gives me the leverage to be able to accelerate their AI transformation with confidence and tangible business outcomes.”
